- Pattambi Nercha (പട്ടാമ്പി നേർച്ച). February and March. A unique and terrific festival, which is celebrated by all residents of Pattambi harmoniously. It is held in memory of Aloor Valiya Pookunjikoya Thangal, a Muslim saint of Malabar. A grand procession of nearly 100 caparisoned tuskers, colourful floats, traditional orchestras such as ‘panchavadyam’ and ‘thayambaka’ and folk art forms are the highlights of the festival.
